Although it was almost a week ago that iOS 12 was officially presented within the framework of WWDC 2018, some of its novelties continue to come to light. This time we are talking about a feature that comes to Apple Music to keep users informed about the new albums that will be released by their favorite artists.
The function is called ‘Coming Soon‘ and will be available on the ‘Browse’ tab of the Apple music streaming app, both for iOS and MacOS. MacRumors ensures that some iOS 11.4 users have already seen this new feature, as well as in macOS 10.13.4.
Even users of the beta of iOS 12 have already been able to use it, and they say that in addition to visualizing the novelties of artists, subscribers will also be able to search for music through fragments of lyrics.
According to MacRumors, for now, the section of ‘Coming Soon’ only shows 10 next albums in its list, reason why this space is not an absolute and definitive source of the premieres that will arrive at Apple Music. As iOS 12 is still being tested through its beta version, we will have to wait to see if this functionality will show many more developments in the future.
Those who have been able to see the new feature assure that it is currently possible to see the announcement of the release of Panic’s next album! At the Disco (which will take place on June 22), as well as the new Florence + The Machine album that premieres at Apple Music on June 29.
