On the eve of E3, the world’s largest exhibition of video games industry, Bethesda announced The Elder Scrolls: Blades. It is fully multiplatform, so players can synchronize their progress between mobile gadgets, PCs, consoles and even virtual reality devices.
The Elder Scrolls: Blades – a new role-playing game from the first person, released in the cult series. It is distributed on a shareware model. The developers did not provide detailed details on the plot, but the essence of the game is clear from the official description:
“Blades, secret agents of the Empire, are forced to go into exile. Returning to your hometown, you found that it was destroyed. PARTICIPATE in new storylines for one player to become a defender of your city. “
In The Elder Scrolls: Blades, players can not only perform story missions but also build a virtual city, improve their characters and equip them with weapons with armor. In the game, there is a special mode called “Arena”, in which people can fight against real rivals.
Based on the presentation, the developers paid special attention to the gameplay: it is fully optimized for touchscreens smartphones and tablets, not only through convenient gesture control but also thanks to the support of several orientations – in The Elder Scrolls: Blades can be played both in landscape mode and in portrait (switching between them at any time by turning the device).
The release of the game for mobile devices will take place in the autumn of this year (presumably on September 1) – it is already possible to register in advance on the App Store and Google Play. It is expected that versions for PCs, consoles and virtual reality devices will appear later.
