Microsoft reprinted Windows 95 as a sweater

It is unlikely that it can be bought on free sale. Microsoft plans to distribute “ugly sweaters” to loyal fans.

Many publications and users took the unusual statement of Microsoft on Twitter almost to restart Windows 95. In fact, everything turned out to be much more prosaic: the Redmond people would simply release a limited series of winter sweaters with the logo of the old version of their OS.

Microsoft itself calls its idea “ugly sweaters”, but lovers of clothing with unusual retro prints will definitely appreciate them. It is not entirely clear whether Microsoft’s clothes will be available for sale, or whether they will be distributed to the “lucky fans” of the company, as she said in social networks. Those who consider themselves a fan of Microsoft, or simply want to try their luck, are invited to write an official company account in their personal messages via Twitter.

Recall, the logo of the Windows desktop operating system has changed many times throughout its existence. The variant for Windows 95 is the third in a row – Windows 1.0 (1985) and Windows 3.0 / 3.1 (1990) went to it. Later, the logo changed four more times for each major version of the system: Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8. That same edition of 2012 is still used in Windows 10 with slight changes in background and color.
